Results: In relation to the patient's social-demographic indicators, it was possible to observe that 69% of the sample had not concluded eight years of study, 97% of the patients referred to had access to drainage systems and 87% to electricity system. The average number of rooms per home was 1.9, 3.7 people per home. The prevalence of underweight in this sample was 32% and the prevalence of hypovitamonosis A was 17.8%.
