Historicaly, tuberculosis verifies a singular on of cultural interaction with a variety of aspects of human revealings because it victimized, scientists, literary, poets, musicians painters, philosofers and Kings. Tuberculosis altered political ocurrences of many countries. Before the modern chemotherapy, the treatments were very extravagants, damaging, romantics and erotics. Among the sanatoriums and health resorts, for many years of hospitalization the patients were lacking in personality, being called "Hominis Sanatorialis". After the bacillus discovery by Koch, the hysteria against the sputum unchained. In the developing countries, because of the great number of the tuberculous patients, the lack of hospital beds, many of them live in poor human conditions. The doctors specialized in tuberculosis, before the modern age of chemotherapy, were idealists, and humanitarians, conforting the ill and fighting against tuberculosis with the precarius measures available. The apogee of the tuberculosis integration of the romantism ocurred on the 19th century and the first half of the 20 th century. On the contrary the hug poor human mass anonimous, the died victimized by tuberculosis, there are no description of their suffering of which only exists statiscs numbers
