Abstract

INTRODUCTION: the cervix uterine cancer is the most frequent type of cancer of the feminine genital treatment in Brazil. The precocious age in the first coitus, multiplicity of sexual partners, frequency of coitus, multiparity and the tobaccoism would increase the risk for this cancer. In Brazil, beyond these factors of risk, it is added high prevalence of infection for papillomavirus human. OBJECTIVE: to tell a case of patient with moderately differentiated espinocelular carcinoma diagnosised in the clinic of gynecology in the Foundation Saint Casa de Misericórdia of Pará and directed to the Ofir Hospital Loyola. METHOD: the data contained in this article was collected by interview and examination of the patient, clinical papers review and scientific literature research. CONCLUSION: The precocious diagnosis of the cervix uterine cancer and the adjusted therapeutical behavior are the alternative of cure for this pathology, that presents high prevalence in the state of Pará.
