The following group of information serves as reference to several professionals involved in the control of nosocomial tuberculosis. It may be used as a guide when is necessary to implement solutions from engineering field. The theme is approached in a simple way even so it contemplates great part of the engineering applications to these cases. It is our objective with this content, to heal most of the doubts that appear in the moment of deciding on which engineering resource to be adopted for each case. It also seeks to facilitate the change of information among the several professionals involved in the team. In a general way we recommend engineering methods that dilute the polluting agent, what is gotten through measures of general ventilation because, they involve a smaller cost, so much for the low investment level in equipments as in the installation and maintenance of the same ones
