Residues generated by establishments and institutions of health assistance and education, both human and veterinary, are called “solid residues of health services”. Considering their characteristics, they have to go under special procedures since their generation to their final destination. In order to avoid risks at work and to minimize their impact on the environment, measures to handle them have to be defined previously to their generations
