This study aims to revise literature about types and quality of economic analyses about services and programs of oral health. The authors adopted a criterion of exclusion in two levels: the first one to evaluate the relevance, and the second to evaluate the quality of the studies. The search strategy was the web media, without limit of dates, to surround the full subject of Economy on Health, focusing on oral health. After 538 articles analyzed, only 28 were considered relevant, from which six had been enclosed in the revision: five dealt with preventive programs, and one with services. A major part of the economic analysis was occupied on cost-effectiveness, in predominant perspective to oral health services. It was not possible a safe conclusion about preventive programs nor about the services (lacks methodology quality in the evaluated studies).
