OBJECTIVE:
To construct and validate the content of a digital instrument integrating therapeutic adherence and the health-environment interface to identify patients' perceptions regarding their conduct related to adherence to malaria treatment.
METHODS:
This methodological study was structured in three stages: literature review, development of the digital instrument, and content validation by five expert judges in the health field. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and quantitatively assessed through the Content Validity Index and the Content Validity Coefficient.
RESULTS:
The integrative review supported the development of the digital instrument. The Content Validity Index values were at least 0.80 (80%), ranging from 80% to 100%. The Content Validity Coefficient showed an overall agreement rate of 0.86 (86%).
CONCLUSION:
The digital instrument developed proved to be valid for future application and use by the target population.
