This report describes a training experience for Indigenous health professionals in the municipality of Jacareacanga, Pará State, Brazil, in 2023, focused on laboratory diagnosis of malaria and hemoparasites (Trypanosoma cruzi and microfilariae). The study adopts a narrative and descriptive approach based on field evidence, aligned with epidemiological surveillance actions and territorial resilience in the context of the climate crisis. The 160-hour training was conducted by a professional from the Central Laboratory of the State of Pará. The report details the logistical and cultural challenges overcome, the learning outcomes arising from intercultural interaction, and the immediate impact on local diagnostic autonomy. The results highlight the importance of dialogical and culturally adapted health education strategies capable of strengthening the resilience of Indigenous communities facing tropical diseases sensitive to environmental change.
