MATERIAIS E MÉTODOS:  Trata-se de um estudo ecológico descritivo, no qual se avaliaram variáveis epidemiológicas e as taxas médias de incidência dessas três arboviroses nos sete estados que compõem a Região Norte, utilizando dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação e do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística.  RESULTADOS:  Evidenciou-se aumento progressivo dos casos prováveis das três arboviroses, com maior destaque para a dengue, que apresentou tendência de crescimento mais acentuada. Tocantins registrou os maiores números de casos de dengue e Zika, enquanto o Pará se destacou em casos de chikungunya. Em todas as doenças, predominou o acometimento de mulheres jovens, sobretudo entre 20 e 39 anos. Observou-se uma elevada proporção de registros incompletos quanto à escolaridade e à gestação, o que limitou a análise detalhada dos fatores de risco. A confirmação de doença ocorreu majoritariamente por critério clínico-epidemiológico para a dengue e por critério laboratorial para a Zika e a febre chikungunya, com desfecho favorável na maioria dos casos.  CONCLUSÃO:  As arboviroses seguem em expansão na Região Norte, influenciadas tanto por determinantes sociais quanto por mudanças climáticas, reforçando a necessidade de vigilância epidemiológica integrada, melhorias no saneamento básico e políticas públicas que considerem a vulnerabilidade socioambiental da região.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  OBJECTIVE:  To analyze the epidemiology of dengue, Zika, and chikungunya fever in the Northern Region of Brazil, from 2017 to 2024.  MATERIALS AND METHODS:  This is a descriptive ecological study that assessed epidemiological variables and average incidence rates of the three arboviruses across the seven states of the Northern Region, using data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics.  RESULTS:  A progressive increase in probable cases of all three arboviruses was observed, with dengue showing the most pronounced growth trend. Tocantins reported the highest numbers of dengue and Zika cases, while Pará had the most significant number of chikungunya fever cases. In all diseases, young women, particularly those aged 20-39 years, were predominantly affected. A high proportion of records lacked information on education and pregnancy status, limiting detailed analysis of risk factors. Disease confirmation occurred mainly through clinical-epidemiological criteria for dengue and laboratory criteria for Zika and chikungunya fever, with most cases evolving favorably.  CONCLUSION:  Arboviruses continue to expand in the Brazilian Northern Region, influenced by both social determinants and climate change, highlighting the need for integrated epidemiological surveillance, improved sanitation, and public policies addressing the region's socio-environmental vulnerability.]]></p></abstract>
